Health And Wellness: Drinking Or The Lack Of Drinking Plus Creative Travel Ideas

It's about self-care. It's about segmentation under "People," in my 9P's. It's about different Products under new product development. 

There is a trend or focus on Health & Wellness. The increased awareness of not drinking alcohol and alcohol's negative health impacts.

Groups or segments who aren't drinking or choosing moderation and sobriety. Health awareness.

  1. Gen Z (roughly 28-37 years of age) and younger adolescents
  2. Older adults (60+) are also often advised to limit or abstain due to health reasons, with younger demographics showing the most significant decline in consumption compared to previous generations at the same age.
  3. 18-34 years old, who now have lower drinking rates than middle-aged adults, older at 35-54.
Creatively what do resorts do, especially in the wine countries? Great sober travel resorts and programs. Offer different activates than wine tasting. How about exercise programs. Cooking classes. Yoga retreats. 

Wine country resorts could cater to the sober travel trend.

Under "Product," in the 9P's start producing non alcoholic beverages and offering wellness activities.

    • There are eight (8) major, strategic components or communication elements which are personal and non-personal communication activities. 
    • The activities that communicate the merits of the overall product include:
      • Personal Selling/ Sales Force: Sales persons
        • Listen more than you talk. People who listen more, learn more, plus helps you position your service/product/solution or offering. 
      • Advertising: 
      • Like Super Bowl advertising in February for Super Bowl. Think about this expression "It is only creative if the product or service sells." I wanted to add "It is only good media spending if it sells."
      • Sales Promotion, advertising mascots can fit here, too. Signage would fit here.

How Does Texas Fit Into The Kansas City Chiefs Announce Relocation From Missouri to Kansas. Place, Product And Promotion, Under 9P’s.

Texas? The reason for the post. Who can remember the Dallas Texans as part of a move to Kansas?

So many stories involving the Kansas City Chiefs moving to Missouri. Many examples of my 9P's. 
  • Back in ’63, the Kansas City Chiefs moved to Kansas City, Missouri, after winning the AFL Championship. They changed their name to the Kansas City Chiefs from the Dallas Texans.
  • Barely anything went well for the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
  • Hadn’t happened in past eleven years, the Chiefs were eliminated from postseason contention for the first time since 2014. Team has been in the playoffs 27 times. Won four Super Bowls.
  • Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was injured and underwent surgery.
  • They decided to relocate from Missouri to Kansas to build a new stadium, and begin playing football with the 2031 NFL season.
  • Kansas legislative leaders, in a unanimous vote, oh--- they were behind closed doors, issued STAR bonds, which will help the Chiefs pay for 70% of the cost of the new stadium.
  • Under Place, their project will involve a stadium and entertainment district located near the Legends district in Wyandotte County. The Legends, a retail and entertainment district located near the Kansas Speedway.

The Dodgers are pretty good on the diamond. They were outstanding in the World Series.

What Was The First Football Bowl Game, But It Wasn't Called A Bowl Game?

It was the first day of the year, 1902, featuring a 49-0 blowout with Michigan winning in a post season invitational game. .

It was billed as a tournament game or the Tournament East-West game . 

Both Stanford and Michigan played in different leagues. It was different then. Players refusing to play, coaching changes, playoff drought, big money playoff for the playoffs.
